2012 Rome Leadership Prayer Breakfast

The 2012 Rome Leadership Prayer Breakfast
will be held on May 3 at The Forum with Robert Reccord as our speaker

If you attended our 2010 Friends for Life Banquet, you may remember Robert Reccord. He was our speaker that night and we received such a great response to him that we've asked him to speak at our Prayer Breakfast in 2012. Put May 3, 2012 at 7:00 a.m. on your calendar now and make plans to attend.

The first Rome Leadership Prayer Breakfast was held in March, 1994.  Over a decade has passed, but the purpose of the Prayer Breakfast has remained the same: to unite area citizens to pray for our nation, our community and our families.  The Prayer Breakfast speakers encourage morality and ethics in the community and raise awareness of the issues that surround and affect families nationwide.  We are also challenged to make a difference for Christ right where we are.

We have had many well-known and interesting speakers, including Dave Dravecky, Frank Reich, Truett Cathy and Cal Thomas.  Local leaders read scripture and lead in separate prayers for our military, police and firefighter personnel; elected officials; members of the medical and business community; educators and students; families; and pastors and churches.
