How You Can Help
There are four main areas of participation through which you may become involved in this ministry:
- Volunteer Counselors or Helpers - The Pregnancy Center is run by Volunteer Counselors. Required training for Volunteer Counselors is provided free of charge and is offered each spring and fall. Volunteer Helpers are also needed to assist in maintaining the Clothes Closet, mailing out monthly newsletters, and other clerical duties. Contact us (ybmccem@bellsouth.net) if you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Counselor or Helper or if you would like additional information on these services.
- Current Needs - A list of current needs is printed in the newsletter each month. The Pregnancy Center has an ongoing need for maternity and infant clothing, both new and used. Diapers, bottles, blankets, sleepers, undershirts, lotion and other baby-care items are also needed regularly. Baby furniture and accessories can be stored in limited quantities.
- Monetary Contributions - Christian Counseling and Education Ministries, Inc. is a Christian, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions to this ministry are tax-deductible. Donations may be mailed to:

Please make a note if you want your donation credited to the Pregnancy
Center or the Rome Area Prayer Breakfast, otherwise it will be credited to
the general fund of the overall ministry.
